Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I am a designer with a passion for patterns, prints, hand-lettering, and typography. Originally studying Biology with a focus on a surgical path at Boston University for two years, I took a massive turn in careers and applied and was accepted for a competitive spot at BU’s College of Fine Arts Graphic Design program.
Through my journey as a fledgling designer to Art Director and to Owner of Grey Ivy Studio, I’ve learned that there a lot of ways to achieve your goals, the best designs consider form and function simultaneously, and to keep looking for ways to grow, improve, and learn.
I have an adorable shih tzu mutt named Roger, I’m obsessed with sour candy, and I am always down to play some poker or board games. My favorite designers and illustrators are Marian Bantjes, Louise Fili, and Jonny Wan. My favorite specialty printing processes are laser cutting and hot stamping.
